Gigaclear - full fibre broadband is coming to Little Bardfield 

As part of Essex County Council’s Superfast Essex broadband programme, Gigaclear is working to bring full fibre broadband to 235 properties in Little Bardfield enabling them to receive download speeds of up to 900Mbps. 

Providing rural communities with the ability to access digital services will provide many benefits for residents and businesses alike. Whether that’s spending time with family streaming movies, playing games with your friends online, working from home or running your business.  

Our network build in Little Bardfield is due to commence in May 2019 subject to highways permits being received and lead time for potential road closures. We will be keeping the parish informed of any updates and we’ll aim to keep disruption to a minimum.

We estimate work to complete by July 2019, subject to unresolved wayleave negotiations and unforeseen engineering difficulties.
